Usage statistics & privacy
Updated October 31, 2026.
Optional usage statistics
If you choose “Allow statistics”, we record page views and clicks on YouTube links to understand which lessons and channels are useful. We record the page path and language, referral website hostname, campaign codes (UTM), click placement, YouTube destination, time, and a random temporary visit identifier.
A first-party cookie groups a visit for up to 30 minutes. Your preference is saved in this browser. We do not put names, email addresses, community post text, full referral URLs, or raw IP addresses in our analytics records. Hosting providers may separately process network and operational logs. We do not build cross-site visitor profiles.
Records are stored privately on Vercel and available through the administrator dashboard. Records are retained until the site operator deletes them. These records do not tell us whether you watched a YouTube video or subscribed after leaving this site.
You can decline or change your choice using Statistics preferences. Declining stops new events; it does not remove previously recorded anonymous events. We also honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Community posts
Your nickname, posts, replies, dates and like counts are public. Reports and moderation details are visible only to the administrator. Avoid sharing private information. Content is stored privately on Vercel and published through this website. No email or account is required.
A random ownership token and your nickname are saved in this browser. The server stores a keyed hash of the token to manage your contributions and limit repeated posting, likes and reports. Clearing browser storage or switching browsers removes your ability to remove your own posts. Use the report button to request administrator review if needed. Removed or moderated contributions disappear from public view; private copies remain for moderation until the operator deletes them. Temporary rate-limit records help prevent spam. These necessary features operate independently of optional statistics.
Learning preferences
Saved lessons and completion progress stay in this browser and do not synchronize across devices. Clearing browser storage resets them. Listening uses a Korean voice installed in your browser or operating system, subject to the voice provider’s settings.
External services
Video thumbnails load from YouTube, fonts load from Google Fonts, and video links open YouTube. These services may receive network information when their resources load. Videos do not automatically play on this website.
